Is 199.99 too much?

I am aware that a normal 'stock' car costs about $75 to do an alignment but because my car is slammed, they are telling me that i need a high performance alignment from a performance shop.

I guess my question is to those who have a slammed car, did you have to get this high performance alignment or just a regular alignment?

thanks for any help

That's nuts. NUTS. I got mine done for $75. I wasn't slammed, but I was lower than regular springs and definately lower than stock.

yea, thats about how much i paid too for the lifetime alignment, but i still have negative camber. i then asked why it wasn't done right the first time and now they say this is not a stock suspension and they want to charge me for the labor to "try and correct the problem" but yet they still cannot guarantee anything.
its like i paid them to align it lowered, but still have negative camber and they want more money for them to correct the problem. I think that I need to just get the corporate people involved...

i think you need to peckerslap a concusion into the side of their head. i paid $60 for an alignment. my car is as low as i could go without having huge negative camber in the rear.

Have you also tried a camber kit?

Put a camber kit on first then get an alignment.

no i already have both f/r cambers installed, even before i took it in the first time to get the alignment. now i have worn my stockies with the neg camber and i don't want to do that with my proxes and they want to charge me the labor to align it in addition to the lifetime alignment that i already paid for.

and trust me i did want to do more than slap the guy but then i would be in an even worse position...shoot or not to shoot that is the question. lol

maybe i should just go to tk performance and take it as a loss and never go back.

if you have your front/rear camber kits installed already, then you should have no problem getting an alignment at most places. just try another shop.

Dude, just get a standard alignment and then check your tire wear periodically. It's not that hard.
