18x7.5 in 48mm vs 18x8.5 in 52mm offset

Wondering which i should order. i am on Koni/neuspeed sp3 shocks and neuspeed sport springs. Would the 8.5 in 52mm require fender rolling. i am willing to do that if i need too. Also is a 235/40-18 tire not wide enough for the 8.5 i assume.

my drop is probably a little lower than yours, and i have 19x8 +51 wheels. I don't rub ever, even have a few mm more room. You may need a slight fender roll for big dips.

Anyone else have sugestions i need to order really soon, they only have 1 set of the 18x7.5 left. Then they are gone and no 46% off sale. mainly just need to know if the 18x8.5 is ok with spc camber, and rolling fenders. i assume 235/40-18's wont work.

no you wont need fender rolling done and yes those tires are wide enough.

I called tirerack an hour ago and they had 1 set of the 18x7.5 in silver left. Just called back and someone just bought 2 of them so i cant get those now. There is only 1 set left of 18x7.5 in black and 2 sets of 18x8.5 in silver. So i can either get 18x7.5 in black, 18x8.5 in silver, or i can mix 2 18x7.5 plus 2 18x8.5. This is for s ilver car, what do u guys think.

Im thinking 18x8.5. You guys think silver or black would look better on a silver cl.

Thnx for the replies guys i made a decision and placed my order. I ended up going with http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Wheel...All&sort=Brand these wheels in silver 18x8.5 52mm offset. The tires i got are
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....el=Ventus+R-S2 in 235/40-18. The wheels were $299 a piece and the tires were $89 each. I think i got a great deal and will be very happy with the purchase come spring. Ill probably roll the back fanders just to be safe. My rear right fender is already kinda wavey and disformed so rolling will help.

18 x 8.5 +52 will be tucked in a little depending on the drop. I have 18 x 9 +50 and I'm at ~ 3" here, camber is -1.5:

Fenders rolled and tabs trimmed/relocated I assume?

I may be looking into running somewhere near the same specs maybe in 19's, just waiting to wear my tires out before I get a new set of wheels. I'm dropped about the same, maybe even a little lower than 3 inches... Your car looks great bro!

My wheels and tires came in but wont be installed until spring. Ill try to take some pics later of the wheels and maybe hold it up to the car for pics.

you should test fit them to make sure everything fits fine.
