17x8 with 55mm offset

Is anyone out there running 17x8 inch wheels with a 55mm offset? If so, have you encountered any problems with rubbing, etc.?

Thanks!

Can you find them in +55? You may have a problem rubbing the inside fender well, as well as the inside suspension since the rim is 1" wider then stock & your using the stock +55 offset......But then again you may not. What you want is too move the rim out with each inch of rim width you go. You do this by getting a lower offset. A +50 would be a better choice I think. Remember it's not just the rim, combine it with how wide of a tire you get. The rim might fit fine, but add 235 tires & you might have a problem. I have 17X8's +48 with 235's & never rub.
