17X6.5 TL-S rims. Tire sizes???

Can I fit 225/50/17 tires on these rims? They currently have 215/50/17. Could I go to a 235? What are the pros and cons. Safe or unsafe.

I think 225's will be the widest I would go.

Tires

I got some Falkens. 225/50/17. Looks great. Plenty satisfied. It it wasn't so difficult to post pictures, I would. If there is another way without having to go through a 3rd party for pictures please let me know.

OK, it wasn't the hardest. Looky at my new baby. Adopted with only 2,315 miles on November 21st, 2006. Car is a 2003. Got to love the little old ladies. What should someone pay for a CL-S Nav AT fully loaded? Please advise.

I have the same exact rims but chromed, same color car, same spoiler... my tires are 215 50 17 falken ziex and they are great and reasonably priced and they have that lip that extends protection of the wheel itself by not having the rim stick out over the tire...
