Time for a new 6-speed manual
Haven't been on much lately, but I bought this car around 90k, since Acura had rebuilt the clutch (have close to a $4000 receipt as proof). Acura doesn't stand behind their work and my third gear synchro is f*($ed up. They said they might cover parts but not labor. (corporate Acura acknowledged they do not stand behind shit that is done by their technicians.) Now some other gears are occasionally hard to shift to at times.
Long story short, I have received my tax refund and it's time to either (1) rebuild my tranny, or (2) just replace it with a used manual transmission for about $1k. (rebuilts just dont seem to be available off the shelf.)
Any idea or suggestions are appreciated. I'm sitting at 122k now and my clutch is fine. I will probably replace it since it will be a zero labor upgrade. I am aware of the TSB on the 3rd gear synchro issue (which of course Acura will not call a recall).
I'm sick of Acura service, but love the car. Looking for advice on anything other than the update to the synchro that would recommended? I do plan on more power down the road, along the lines of a comptech supercharger I am thinking.
Many thanks in advance everyone!

If you are going to go with more power I would suggest perhaps locating a known good gearbox, have it fully overhauled by reputable transbuilder or a dealer willing to do it and then install it. In this way you have a spare trans in case your desire for more power exceeds even the rebuilt transmissions capabilities.

Thanks Jens. My tax return wasn't quite that big But good to keep in mind for down the road. Mostly interested in making this one as bulletproof as possible now.
