Throttle Body Redirect Issues After Installing AEM Cold Air Intake

3 days ago, I installed an AEM Cold Air Intake on my 2003 CL Type-S 6-Speed. And ever since then, my coolant temperature has been running 15-20 degrees F hotter than it did before the CAI was installed. I redirected the coolant hose from the thermostat housing to the throttle body exactly how the AEM directions stated. Any ideas as to why my coolant temperature went up and how I can get it back down?
