Sudden powerloss.. car feels like it's on 5 cylinders!
Drives like shit... I mean, it's still driveable and someone who never drove a CL-S would probably not be able to tell anything but I can feel it. It began suddenly too. It was perfect then just started to move poorly... I changed the air filter, checked the plugs (they are fine), there are no check engine codes.... where do I look now?????? Are there any common occurances like this with these cars?? I haven't had it for long...
thanks in advance

IMRC possibly. Search the forums for detailed explanations on the Intake Manifold Runner Control actuator, it's a somewhat common problem and cuts deep into the car's available power. You can test it yourself.

I checked the actuator.. it opens at about 4000 rpms..... i pulled the plugs and they look good.. but the powerloss is on the low end.. and all thru out the powerband, but a lot more felt on the low end........

Could be the ECU. Check out this thread: https://acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=179237

yeah i have no codes, it just runs terrible. I have extended warranty with a 250 bucks deductable, I know, retarded. But basically I don't want to take it in, pay $250 and they won't find the problem or the problem is something a lot cheaper.
