Stop head lights from being stolen for hID
What kind of preventive measure can I take to preventive my headlights from getting stolen for the HIDS. They were already swiped out last september because I live in a biulding so I have to park on the road over night, It cost $1200 dollars to replace them and I don't want to go through that again. These lights are a hot comodity for the young kids with civics who prefer to steal them off high end cars instead of buying them from the stores

Damn, I didn't know it was a problem w/ the CL's, but I can see why. I knew Maximas down on the east coast had this problem a while back.
I remember reading about this in a magazine once, I would say upgrade your alarm system, or ensure that you're parking right up against a wall, as it makes it a lot harder for thieves to work and take your stuff.
I know the latter isn't very feasible or practical, but I would definitely go witha new alarm system with a shock sensor of sorts.

Alarm with tilt/shock sensor is about the only thing you can do, except maybe finding a secure garage to park in. If they want em, they'll take em.
And for people that bring up the idea of security screws and hook locks, don't waste your money. Most times they just rip the front bumper off and bend the front quarter panels and the corners of the hood to get to them.

Your best bet is to park against something or garage it....keep in mind (smart) thieves have been known to take an installer's drill bit (about 12" long) and pop a hole through the fender to the battery. Let it drain for an hour, come back and any alarm is useless...unless you have another battery hooked up, which most don't
