Greetings, comrades. First question - is anyone else out there running a B-series throttle body with some sort of adapter for the idle regulator, like the one made by P2R?
I am, and I wonder whether my troubles have something to do with that or not. I've tried three different idle control motors, and nothing changes - my engine won't go higher than about 900 revs in idle after a cold start. Is anyone else out there with a B-series TB swap experiencing the same problems, or is this just my bad luck?
That's unlikely, it has been properly calibrated. You do have to cut the slots a bit with the B-series TB to get the voltage right, but it has been done. I think it might be that the TPS itself is malfunctioning, but the only way to find out would be to replace it.
