HID Bulb Question

Can I purchase a 10000K HID Bulb and replace it with the stock bulb that is in my car now, with the stock ballast and everything?

yes, you can as long as its the same type of bulb in the car, you can put any of the D2R, D2S, or D2C without having to switch the ballasts or anything.

I guess it all depends on where you live and how well the lighting is when you drive at night. Anything above 6000K will decrease your light output and is usually more for "looks" ...even though 10000K will look like the neighbors 16 yr old kid who got an EG hatchback and slapped an ebay HID kit on it...

Yes, 4300k. IMO up to a 6000k is ok, but light output will not be as good as 4300k. 6000k will have a blue tint, not nearly as severe as 10000k, plus oncoming traffic wont hate you as much.

3000k would be too yellow for me. stock (4300k) or anything till 6000k is only what i would run.

the "brightest" output you can acheive is by using a 5000K bulb from a quality source.
