Help with non-working window

Rolled the window today and heard two *clank* sounds. (Sounded like 2 pieces of metal fell down the inside of the door.)

When I tried to roll the window up I could hear the window motor working but the window wouldn't budge.

I searched these great forums and found a link on how to remove the door panel, but nothing on simular problems or fixes.

Door Instruction - https://acurazine.com/forums/audio-video-electronics-navigation-22/2nd-gen-cl-door-panel-removal-335272/

If you have any advice or a simular thread your help would be greatly appreciated.

the glass fix

hey i have had this problem b4. 1st a little history on how the driver side window is manufactored and assymbled. There are 2 tabs glued to the glass that sometimes breaks off of the glass. That is why u can hear the motor working but the window does not move. Ok that was the bad news. Here is the good news or hi times any who. you have to remove the door panel and then either replace the glass which is a piece of cake or reglue the tabs to the glass you have. its actually a quick fix. cheers

It is your window regulator, mine went out a few weeks back and I replaced it myself. Parts run around $75 online. They tried to charge me 200...yes 200 dollars for labor at the acura dealer. "95 bucks an hour + materials" It's a pretty self explanatory fix, but i think the DIY replacement write up I did should help ya out.

If you need any sort of help, feel free to PM me. The very same thing happend to me, I tried to put my window up and...clunk, still heard the motor going, but the window was stuck!

Best of luck.
