headers on ebay all day long. real cheap

If i had the auto cl i would personally go with the DC headers. They are the second best after comptech imo but alot cheaper. Any of the other brands might have issues with fitment, vibrations, and cracks in welds etc a few years down the road. I would rather buy a quality pair and only have to install them once and be worry free but thats just me.

hey brian6speed... thanks man. yeah i do have an auto, wish it was a 6 speed very rear car, when i was looking for mine... but hey u think the tranny will hold up to that extra power freed up by the headers? andhow much are dc headers?

384 new. As for will the auto hold up that only really applies with forced induction. Turbo, supercharger, or nitrous.

I went with ebaY Headers.... OK for the most as I have an Auto CL-S but the welds were st8 just the piping was not flush with the flange. I think the flange openings weren't bored out big enough. I bored them out with a dremel and carbide bit so the flange was flush with the piping.
That was about it... I'll see if it lasts, if not I can put the stock one back. Your really not gonna get a Auto CL to run or be as fast or responsive as a 6MT so not a bad deal if you want to save $200 and gain a lil power.
I also found it easier installing them as well, I did it while doing my 2005 TL Transmission FIX for the faulty CL-S transmissions.
I know many will knock me on this but like I said its an "AUTO" CL-S

Thanks DC2 .. i have been thinking about it, but just cannot make up my mind. Your definitely right about the auto cls vs 6mt. But at same time really like my auto it work especially when u and ur girl just cruising.LOLOLOLOL... but still wish i had a bit more power, so thats why i was thinking about it. what i should do though is lower the bastard and get a fresh paint job. Cause all in all the cls auto is still a quick car.
