gridding metal sound from rear wheel
The sounds seem to be coming from the rear driver side wheel only. Every time I stepped on the brake there is a gridding metal sound. Also there is this brown liquid or metal liquid all over my rear driver wheel ONLY. I thought it was the pads that needed to be changed but I just got it done last year. Last year I had a new drill rotors and pads upgrade. Plus I checked the pads I can still see there is still some left. Anyone have a clue before I bring it in for service?

E-brake is draging maybe???? Sounds like a worn pad tho, you sure there is still pad and not the metal part? Does the rotor get really hot? try spitting on it or something after you've driven, i wouldnt touch it. And compare it to the rear passenger side brake pad. They should both be even if they where changed at the same time. I suppose if the pad was installed slighty out of line it could be worn to the metal already, but doutful. Maybe your rotor warped and it causing this? If you can't come up with anything else I would take it to a garage you know and have them check it.
