engine codes please help!!!
 

i recently bought an 03 cl-s 6-speed . when racing with a jetta i missed shifted from third to second instead of forth . the car was fine untill the next day. sitting at the light i have engine check light up. checked the codes it was cylinder 2,3,4,5,6 misfire . engine overspeed and some other one that my friend said only comes on diesels.

ouch thats got to hurt.

clear the codes, and see if they pop up again.

If not, you should be fine.

i did clear all the engine codes. they are not coming back anymore but the car runs weird. it still seems like the timing is off.

overspeed might mess up your valves

took the car to niello acura it turned out to be a faulty egr. the car is still on the factory warranty so they fixed it at no charge to me.

Dont we all love factory warranty =]
