2003 acura CL...this is the second winter my e barke is sticking. pass side will not release.. checked found rubber casing had ripped and all rusted. I got two replacement cables from acura dealer. anyone have DIY tips/ guide/ instructions, or should I let my mechanic do it. thanks

 

Do you have a 6MT or an automatic?

 

Its not hard to do i can post pages from manual also i would change the ebrake shoes at the time.

 

Just remember the automatic has the foot emergency brake, so the install would be a bit different.
