CL-S decelerates faster than TL-S

I own a 2003 TL-S with 232,000 miles which I have owned for last 8 years. I also have another 2002 CL-S with 194,000 which I own for less than a year. Both with 3.2L engine

While driving, I find that TL is faster to accelerate compared to CL and when I release gas pedal, the speed drop is not so sudden compared to CL.

Are CL transmission ratios deeper than TL/

The difference is substantial . Anybody can suggest what could it be due to?

The body kit on your TL or the TL has a better motor from the factory or the CL was abused so the engine is tire.

Both motors are identical specifications. I donot find anything wrong in engine oil consumption so not sure which part of the engine is causing low power.

It could be almost anything. It doesn't have to be the motor.

Ie. Torque converter, brakes dragging, wheel bearing, tire resistance, plug cat, etc. And it could be multiple items not just one so cumulative is also a possibility. You're talking about a car that's in it's mid teens. Just be happy that both of your car's are still going strong.
