Chrome Window Trim Removal

Does anyone have any ideas or tips on how to remove the chrome trim surrounding the windows? I want to powdercoat the chrome black and then put it back on. I would just go in there with a screwdriver and pry it off, but I don't want to damage it. Has anyone done this? And if so, once it's off, how do you get it back on? Thanks!

Idk how to take them off, but if you cant you could always just use the black out tape that alot of people use, i have it on my door and i am going to put it on the trim as well. It looks fine its just more of a flat black but i like it, also if you change your mind you can just take it off. just an idea.

black trim tape is da best. Like Noah said in one of his threads, if you decide eventually to take it off, you won't have to buy new trim
