CD player

Hi,

My stock cd player recently crapped out on me, it wont eject or load any discs, but the radio still works. Acura wants 350$ to fix it, and I'm probably just going to settle with an after-market version, however, if I do go that route, is it going to affect my navigation system? I called 2 Acura dealerships, they said no, but when I talked to an audio shop here the guy thought that it would.

Thanks in advance,
