Car won't start when I fill up the fuel tank.
I have an Acura CL 01 Type S that's given me hard start issues. A few months ago it would give me problems at the gas pump whenever I'd fill up the tank. It would take about 6-10 turns of the ignition before the car would start. I've done google search and some of the forums/ searches would say that it is the purge valve getting too much fumes. I took the car to a Honda certified mechanic and they're not sure if that's the problem. They couldn't replicate the hard start. I have since just gotten used to just filling the tank 3/4 way and no problem since for about 2 months.
Yesterday I was at work and leaving to home and the car simply won't start. The car has about 1/2 a tank in it. It cranks just fine but the engine just wouldn't start. What do you guys think? Is it a bad starter or bad purge valve? The car is still at work,
Eric

Have you ever had your fuel pump relay changed. I had similar issue during summer months and fuel pump relay was the issue. Once i replaced and I have not a had problem. Fuel pump relay is common problem in accords as well.
