If you are planing to use it for honda/acura only, get yourself Honda HIM unit from dinodirect.com. You got to have pc with serial port ( usb adapters do not always work ok ) but you will have full Honda diagnostic features that none of the generic scanners will give you.

Thanks. I would like to have a universal one that im not sure if im gonna stay with acura/honda. I have to track down the misfire i have. I need something that will read live data to help me with it. I already did new spark plugs, coils, cleaned EGR and also fixed few minor things that i thought may have something to do with it. Next thing is valve adjustment. Car is running perfectly fine, the power is there. Im getting random misfire and P1399

How did you get to scan for codes? I've tried normal and alternate modes. Everytime I scan I get the following with my scanguage 2:

? codes found

I go to force clear them out and it says "no response" Everything else works fine though.
