Aftermarket HID bulb for 2nd Gen CLS?
So the first of two bulbs went out and the dealer wants $206 for one bulb.

Oemacuraparts wants $130.

anyone ever purchase an aftermarket brand? What should i expect to pay?

$45 for a pair. As good as OEM bulbs.

OEM = 4300K. But I prefer 5000K

Would you happen to know how to access the ballast? The bulb was not the problem

Not worth your time & $$$ to access the ballast for replacement. Buy new sets of ballast & wire into the HID bulb thru the protective cap. Seal up cut hole in cap with GE silicone.
