awesome install.
is that custom made dash for that double-din screen?
also, the cl's have a notorius issue with the trunk leaking on the driver's side.
i hope that is not the case on your car.

I need to change my set up, im not happy with the shelf running across the back....im thinking of mounting the sub on one side, the amp on the other and havin the ski pass open again. If my tire blows out it wont fit in my trunk. Your screen install is a hell of a lot cleaner than mine.
I also had the 7015 for a couple of days. Then I realized the 8017 was out.

I got the trim piece from StreetEffectz here on the forums. It's nearly perfect. It would be nice if it had tabs on the left and right sides so the graphite (or wood) trim could snap into it like it did on the original head unit. The trim is a little flimsy. Looks great though!
I'll keep an eye on leaks as well. Though my amps are elevated so they should be ok if it just puddles underneath.

I am screwed if a tire blows though. The amp brackets are bolted through the carpet into the metal. Oh well. That's why I pay for AAA.

I actually have the DDX 8017
absolutely not, the stock speakers are fine and dont sound half bad when they are tuned with a decent radio!. Ive heard that the amp in the radio + the amps in the individual speakers can cause them to short out...ive never had a problem. You're safe man
Our particular model has an excellent navi system add-on too if you were interested. (7015,7017,8017)
welcome to the site bro!!!
