Todays project...Detail the CL

I was bored today so I detailed my CL for at least 5hrs.

I started with a wash of course, then used some scratch X remover in some places. Next I put on a layer of meguires deep crystal polish. Then a layer of NXT wax. ALl by hand

I am loving the way its looking. This is the first time I have ever put polish on a car . Im amazed at what a difference it makes.

I was getting dark by the time I finished up so I only have a few shots in the garage. Hopefully I can snap a few shots outside tomorrow before the rain comes.

Dang. Looks good bro. I have those rock chips on my sides as well. But good job on the detail. Love when black shines like that.

Notice that you have the CL door sills. Looks good. I wish I had a set of those.

looks good man..I know thats alot of work w/ the NBP. I know scratch X can be used by hand but I just picked up a Porter Cable 7424 dual action polisher and using that with the scratch X and a good polishing wax will make your NBP look like new. I had a million swirl marks and clear coat scratches and w/ the porter cable it is flawless now. I def. recommend it.

again mad props for detailing by hand. Its does look very good.
