My car is going in for paint very soon...just staying NBP though..i love the blue sparkle it gives off.

 

i was going to repaint it SMR but im really cool with the guy who painted my car so he gave me a crazy good deal so i was like what the heck i might as well change up a bit. plus the car scene in jax is pretty nice so i wanted to step my game up a little.

 

Clearly my monitor at home is off. Looking at the pic again at work, it does appear pink on the front end.

Did you also paint your door jams and engine bay?

 

^i painted the door jams and trunk jams. I didn't want to bother with the engine cause I wasn't bout to pull all that shit out plus it's still red just a different shade.

So this is a red from an M3? What's the color called or is it custom mixed with the orange?

So sick man...I really like it, a lot brighter than the SMR.

 

This is the stock oem color from the e92 m3. It's called melbounre red metallic. Melbourne red is a few parts orange that's why it's so bright. I liked smr but it was too dark of a red for my taste I wanted brighter lol. The paint in combination with the lip kit it feels like a brand new car.

 

Well it's definitely dope...love it.

It was 1300 to paint the car and mold the rear lip. I got such a good price because I'm good friends with the painter.

 

I still think gold rims would look amazing with your paintjob

their 18x9 +36 18x10 +36 224/40/18 235/40/18 i forgot the brand. the tires are coming with the rims. just waiting on more pics of the rims to determine if they pass my inspection to buy them.

my interior is stock. i was never a mod the interior kind of guy.

 

wow that was super cheap for the whole paint. I know like a million painters here and I doubt i can get a paint job "I want" for that cheap. I mean I can, but it will have some flaws like trash, fish eyes, etc. I hope ur paint didnt have any of those.

I think your missing a clip on the bumper. Part #'s are 90107-S0X-A01 and 90109-SS0-000

I noticed it right away. You are incorrect, he does not have shaved bumper tabs. Don't worry i don't "seat" too long on Acurazine. I like low miles on my CL

yea but most mesh wheels do. i liked how my last set looked but they were 19s and very heavy and chrome. i wanted more of a racer wheel. their silver btw with some nice lippage. this kind of a bitter sweet moment because ive enjoyed modding this car for the last 4 years. but like i said other than bbk im 100% done modding this car. im just going to sit back and just save money for a while and enjoy my car. by the end of the year i want to pick up a lexus or infiniti sedan as a daily.
