"S"traight out the car wash...
What's up everyone? My car is finally in motion. 2001 CL-S. Although there is still some work I need to do to the interior, the exterior is pretty much done. Not to mention the sarona roof wing I've yet to install. I just had the Tein basic damper coilovers installed, an AEM CAI, and the TSX wheels. I also have a VIS carbon fiber hood, 2003 headlights, M3 wing, and thanks to my boy "RMLatinPlaya", I managed to make a perforated grille for it. For now, that is how it is going to move. I'm still pretty new to this site so bare with me. Let me know what you guys think.. Peace.

Yes it is not open. That's how it fit. I'm kind of upset about that but I'm really not sweating it too much. I'll see if I can have it adjusted, but if it cant, then oh well.

Do you guys want to know the really bad feature? It doesn't have the holes for the washer fluid dispensers. The holes for the grille insert were not pre-drilled as well. Which was the most annoying procedure to do. They didn't even give me an idea of where the holes are supposed to go, you know like little white dots or something. My friend and I had to improvise so we put the screws into the grille, I grabbed a whiteout pen and put a drop on the tip of each screw and gently positioned it properly in order for the ink to make contact in the right locations, otherwise the thing would have came out twisted. It took some time and patience but it was done.

Yeah, its a camera, but I'm waiting on some screens to make it useful. I'm contemplating on putting hood pins for that same reason. Thanks everyone.

Thanks for the comps everybody, I just finished painting my rear brake calipers red. I was going to start the fronts but darkness fell so I had to wrap everything up. Tomorrow morning I will resume. I was thinking of going Brembo but I don't want to get carried away too soon. Meanwhile, I'll just wear the stock calipers, they work pretty good. As soon as I finish them I will post some pics. Peace everyone.

you just need to adjust your hood latch down, and turn the little rubber bumpers down and your hood will fit right in the front.

Thanks for the comp 03 cl Type s, I'm trying to avoid the curb rashes on them, I think my girlfriend put a small one on the right front wheel because I'm very cautious about those things, but mistakes do happen. I'd really be upset if they were 20" chromes-Now That's a perfect reason to start an argument, and I believe most individuals would agree..

Car looks good, how easy/hard was the hood install? any other unforseen problems besides the lack of washer holes?
Not really Feeling the TSX rims, our cars look better with a lipped rim

About the TSX wheels. I'm all about uniqueness and individuality, I try very hard to look different than others in every aspect. That is what seperates me as an individual amongst others. I accept both positive and negative criticism because of the mere fact that everyone has their own distinctive opinions about everything. I've had my CL for a few months now, but prior to the slight modifications that I made to it, I was trying to develop a combination that will made my car look simple but more agressive than stock both coinsiding with the mindset of looking different than others even if the outcome was slightly noticeable. I live in Boston, and I noticed that all CL's/TL's either have the stock type-s Wheels or some other aftermraket wheels. I'm not inferring that I will never install aftermarket wheels because that is one the most prevalent factors in modifying cars but for the time being, I wanted stock Acura wheels that no other CL or TL had (in Boston at least, I'm pretty sure someone else out there had similar thoughts). I liked them because they are practically the same size as the stock "S" wheels, They use the same exact tire size but because of the amount of spokes and unique styling of the TSX wheels, to me they appear larger when mounted on our cars.

sorry bro, not feelin the TSX rims, grille or hood. the CF hood doesnt truly fit. and the grille looks like a high schooler's civic setup. you should try cutting out the the inner workings of the grille for a nice clean finish.
and as mentioned before, id rather have hood pins, even though it looks ricey, as long as the kept my hood in a more clean-cut position.
