Rolling the fenders?

Who here has had their fenders rubbed (profesionally) not with a bat or something..

What is the process?

Do they take out the fenderwell trim or remove the rubber strips that run along the fender?

Do the have limit on how far you can roll them out?

Once they are rolled will you notice a BIG difference from OEM?

How much to do this?

Can you just roll the rear wells instead of the front two?

Thanks..

The body shop i went to does them all the time. I didnt do the but the process is they either push it back with this special tool. Or the cut it and hammer it up then coat it with paint and rust proof it. You cant tell the difference from stock unless you look at the fender. That is for the back wheels only, the front is a little different because of the tab and the area is more seen than the back. If the wheels are gonna rub in the front than you shouldnt bbuy them at all. I rub in the back a little but not at all in the front.

i guess you can roll the rear of a cl/tl quite a bit. how much varies from car to car. done properly, you can't see it at all. it helps to heat up the paint w/ a heat gun so it wont crack. the rolling tool is pretty expensive, i think $1500 or something like that. a local shop said they charge $300 for someone off the street. but it's free if you purchase the wheel/ tire package from them.

I just rolled it myself. Why dont you want to use a bat? It works perfectly fine.
