The pic you posted is from a CL, not a CLS. There is no short ram available for the CLS. Also, why are you stuck on getting a short ram? Teh Suck since they draw in hot air from the engine bay

oh i put them back on a whiles back. but come summer, i'm taking them off. any cooling helps. you know what i'm talking about since you also have scorching hot days.

ah, not for the CLS, got ya. The short ram is the way to go imo with the lude atleast due to the placement of the filter, i know acouple people that had water lock. I would also custom fab. a heat shield ftw!

Hydrolock is not an issue with the icebox. The filter is high like a short ram, but it still gets its air from downlow. Even it you managed to fill the intake tube with water there is a small rubber flap in the box that will open up to allow air in. My icebox came with a letter from comptech stating that the unit is safe from hydrolock. Oh well no point in arguing about it, since you can't get a short ram anyway. Just get the icebox and don't look back

i don't see why this aem short ram intake won't fit the cl-s...i have a short ram on my cls but its generic ebay stuff...i just like it for the deep growl...it really seems like that aem intake will fit a cls..maybe its just me..someone try it out!

The throttle body bore is on the CL-P is smaller in diameter. So smaller intake tube.

Also there is no VSA on the CL or CLS6 which is why intakes are not fully interchangeable
