Pics of my new baby..CL-S 6spd

Posted a thread a few days ago bout my new CL-S, but i didnt actually pick it up from the dealership till today, the day after my bday, pretty much the best birthday ever (esp. since both my legends sold on my bday which allowed me to buy this)!! obviously! well except for the fact that i bought it for myself but still a nice gift lol. heres some pics n' details.

-2003 Acura CL-S
-6 speed
-30k miles
-Silver/black
-Comptech headers and exhaust, and even though the dealer didnt mention it i think it has a comptech ice box too, its in the pics so let me know if i have one or not, i dont see how i could be wrong though its in the pics.

Sorry for the pics in advance, i know theyre dark but i wanted to show off my car asap and its dark out, i did my best by pulling it into the garage and turning the lights on in there.

Also, just curious, what kinda HP do u think im puttin out at the wheels with the headers, exhaust, and icebox?

Pics:

The ice box i believe..? ^

Headers..yeeuh!! ^

Congrats!!! Definitely a Comptech Icebox.

According to Comptech, you're probably around 249whp

Unfortunately for me i cant drive this the way i want to right now. i put a lot of work into my legends and with those i always put a lot of points on my license. im not suspended but i just cant get pulled over till December, when my record clears of 3 tickets.

but i will be putting more into this car in the meantime. right now im gonna be getting a comptech strut bar and tint. and eventually rims and dropping it. but im really glad i found one that already had all the headers and exhaust n ice box done, especially with comptech parts. i just need to work on the suspension now

Damn. Very nice car. That's an awesome deal. How much did you end up getting it for? Still a killer deal, especially including the comptech goodies.

It should still be certified with Comptech parts as long as a Acura store put the parts

I dont think he did to bad, heck he has half the miles you got and it was only 3 g's more. well worth the money with all acura approved parts!

maybe so, but the question is that we need answered is if its certified which unless he got it from Acura we know it isnt. Also just me, but Im not big on buying a pre modded car because we know the previous owner didnt just spend all that money on the Ice Box and Header just for the looks if you get where im going, and even though the car could be running fine now, who knows what kind of internal condition it is in and whats waiting to go wrong. Thats just my opinion in which I rather have my 2 times the mileage stock car which I will admit still be in the same condition his was just I jus get that little peice of mind of knowing that it may not been ragged by someone.

It is still certified by Acura, just that the headers and exhaust cannot be covered under warranty. i purchased a two year warranty with the car, bumper-to-bumper, except for the headers and exhaust. and regarding the price, i think i got a pretty fair deal considering i bought it from a Stealership. the car blue books at 23,200. i paid 22,500 (the original sticker was 23,995) for it and it came with about $2500 worth of comptech parts. Not to mention that this is a rare car (especially where i live) and the chances of me coming across another one would be slim to none.

I understand the logic in that the previous owner may have pushed this car seeing as how they installed the performance parts. this may be true, but i would (and do) push this car on occasion, because whats the point in have the parts and extra hp if youre not going to have fun with it and use it possible. also the fact that the car is completely bone stock apart from the engine upgrades (ie no rims, tint, aftermarket stereo or visual mods) tells me that the previous owner wasnt a hardcore racer or ricer.

Updated Pics

PS- Here are some updated pics. Since taking them i cleaned the car, in the process i removed the stick from the dealership on the trunk below the acura emblem and also cleaned off that bit of black gunk on the rear bumper right above the license plate.

Well first of all in my post i said that since the pic has been taken i have cleaned the car and i removed the sticker from my car, so it is no longer there. the sticker itself, is from the local dealership where i bought the car, they put em on every car they sell, i took it off and cleaned the car and theres no trace of it every being there in the first place.

man after loosing my other car wit 106k miles on it, buying a Honda with low miles doesnt mean nothing but the ability to say you go less miles than the next man. my car got 60k 6 speed nav onstar and i paid 19k. 60k miles dont mean jack cause the car runs perfect and so long as i keep the maintenance up and dont do dumb stuff its gonna last. Even if i paid more and got a 13k mile car with out NAV it would just be as prone to the same problems mines that i have now might have. Long as you got a good warrentee your good. Mileage on Hondas dont mean much but resale value.
