i have a question... why do you need that shift light + huge tach if you already have a tach on your gauge cluster and drive an auto?

enginewise your car is quite nicely put together

interior wise - i would put the guages on to the a-pillar and lose that tach from 1996.

How hard was it to get the Supercharger to fit to the car?
Was it from a CL-S or an Accord?

Like was mentioned already, looks good besides for the gauges.

yeah I know the tach is pretty bad, but I gota deal and I'm eventually going to change it out for a full set of apex guages with the link box. As far as the guages in the A pillar. I refuse to do that cuz its just plain played out. It is cleaner but I just don't feel it and it is my car and no offense to anyone but I do what I like. I may put the guages in the same place with a custom cluster box.

As far as the charger I bought it from a guy with an accord. I got a killer deal on it and it runs great. I got the HB pulley from a comptech dealer and also a new FPR. It was giving me a lot of problems but those were all mended. I traded in my redtop battery from the same guy for a brand new yellow top and he gave me a deal on a 200 amp alternator-new.
I've been having tranny slippage again so I might need to go shopping for one once again. if it blows on me again i may go looking for a whole new car.

Ultra hot. Tach is the only thing I disagree with. But hey, it's your car. I'm sure you have a reason for it. But dayum. That's hot. Show us the dyno graph!

How do you like those turn signal mirrors? Were the lights easy to hook up?

dude.. how many pounds of boost are you running? When i had my cl-p charged I could only run 4-5 lbs. with the h/b/p and i had some problems with the "competch elbow" the part where the charger connects to the intake manifold. how did you take care of that?

Sweet job. Same as everyone, I wasn't too much of a fan of the tach, and the gauges on the dash. You need to hide those.

I am also running 5 lbs. As far as the intake inlet it was tough but with the help of friends we managed to shave it down and make it work like a charm. The only real problem was the FPR and tuning it. we had to buy a fuel pressure guage and attach it in the line to see where we were while tuning. That helped alot. after that it was just a matter of finding a good tranny to go with the cars power.

for the mirrors I bought M3 style mirrors made for an accord at a car show. A guy bought a set of carbon fiber JTGC style mirrors and had them so I took them off his hands. I have defenitely learned that if you wait a little deals sort of fall in your lap after meeting the right people and ging to the right places. Also being a nice person isn't bad either.

my opinion would be lose those 18" wheels, they kinda 'cheapen' your car's appeal.
try and go with some 2-piece or 3-piece wheel -- it would set your car off.

its a 2003 CL-p. Yes it is an accord kit. It was meant for the accord 00-02. It fits better than the CL-S kit does. The engine cover is the original with a little engine paint-nothing tough.

SO, if your car is an '03 and it's a CL-p, did the CL-p come with the brushed aluminum int. trim as well as the Type S? I thought the CL-p's came with the wood grain only. Can someone clairify?

No the accord kit fits better onto the J32A1 block because it is more closely related to the J30 that it is on the accord. The CL-S is a bit larger and needs to have the CL-S kit on it. Or at least that is what I hear from the Comptech dealer.

The interior trimin my car was painted Satin Silver (I don't know where you got brushed aluminum from). I bought a brushed aluminum kit but only used a few parts from it. And yes the original trim was wood grain.

In the Type S it looks like brushed aluminum and I didn't read all of your specs so I just assumed it was the same.

Did you paint the pieces on the doors and rear quarter or did someone else. If you did, did you take them off and how'd you put them back on? Can you get me close up pics of them? I have parchment int. and this is a project I have been working on for some time now. (Silver as opposed to OEM wood) I'm just affraid to do the doors and quarters.

Thanks!

It does take some time as a DIY project. I took mine to my tuners and a guy there actually knew exactly what to do. He took off the interior panels and steamed them off and than painted them and put them back on. But instead of doing that I saw some guys buying sheets of silver vinyl and applying that to the interior. Only problem is that you really only have one good chance to apply it the right way. But in the end it is a hell of alot cheaper (probably only around $35 for a long sheet) and looks almost just as good. keep me updated I would love to see how things turn out

Thanks, the grill is just the regular universal grill my tuners had at their shop. They had some left over sheets in the back so I took it, cut it out to fit the whole front end, and than primered and painted them (with the sanding process of course). I got the paint from Advanced Auto Parts and as far as the mirrors go I got them from a guy that had an accord. I dunno exactly which ones they are, but they are electronically powered, led's did come installed and no modifications ofr fitment. The only down part is their line of sight is much worse than the stock ones, but that can be exspected with after market mirrors. if you have any more questions shoot them over my way.

so, your saying the mirrors came off you friends accord, and they fit your 03 cl with no problem? what year is you friends accord? because i can just look for mirrors for that model accord and then put them on my 03 cl.

no its isn't I bought the pure kit from andys auto parts and cut out the center. It not only looks better but its more sensable for a daily driven CL. At more than 60 MPH's the center piece bends and hits the ground, grinding it down and ruining the entire paint job
