if you want the best of both worlds (blue tint and visibility), keep your stock bulbs and get the rockblocker film for your headlights. they will give you that pretty little ricer blue you like and protect them as well. they come in blue, yellow and smoke.

this is also cheaper than getting new, less effective bulbs.

oh and, I bought my bulbs used which had 50 hours of use on them for $100. I wouldn't spend $280 for these.
