Oh Hai AZ
Not a CL, but too many similarities to ignore. Hello brethren. Enjoi.
For those of you who followed my build thread, the new motor is running amazing and the final dyno tune will commence shortly.

Do I see welds on the exhaust or is that crush bends
And I kind of see 1g CL. But its hard to see it. The 6g Accord doesnt have the "overturned canoe" look.

i dont see any 1g cl in there
ok i see. if you look at the left taillight, because of the shadow, it makes it looks like a 1g CL and then ur imagination goes from there...

Really? Hrm...
No track times as of yet, first dyno appointment surfaced a few gremlins. Will be going back shortly for the 2nd and hopefully final attempt.
Welds. It's all menrel bent. Don't you remember the exhaust build in my thread on here? Lol.
As far as 1g CL, whatev. The 6th gen rear has crisp, square rear geometry. The 1g CL rear looks like...well an overturned canoe. Lol.
Thanks
Is it me or does nobody remember my build thread?!? Haha. It's a j35 now (J36 was eating bearings), Oddy bottom end, RL pistons, and J32a2 heads.
Rad. Thanks bud!
My imagination won't go, but hey - if you guys all see it, there must be some truth to it.

I thought they looked familiar, but the finish threw me off. I do like what I can see of the wheels on the Mazda. Is that a TL on the other side too?
I pm'd you the details on the retro.

I'll post up the new # once I get them. The voltage drop has been fixed and the dyno should commence shortly
Thanks!

Thanks bud. The initial dyno appointment was cut short by a MAP voltage drop that was causing the car to lean out. It made 320whp/320wtq at 4800rpm (couldn't rev past 4800 as it went completely lean) with only 3psi of boost, AFR was super unstable and erratic. We had another 2k RPM to rev plus another 7psi, so there's a TON of potential to be had.
That thing is gonna be beastly at full power!

I know it went to a good home though.
Maybe some day Ill think about going back to it. Im just concerned as to why MPs 3.6 didnt like bearings.

^still not sure wtf that was about. When we tore the motor down the cylinders were scored and the crank was fukked.
The only possible explanation was that the crank was misbalanced from the factory and it ate the bearings every time the piston saw positive pressure.
