glad the rims found a new good home.

porter cable 7424 is your best freind. in one day you could get rid of those swirl marks yourself

RYANGP 04-23-2009 08:06 PM

jeez those 20's make the rear brakes look so wimpy lol

looks real good though

02CLNOS 04-23-2009 09:08 PM

not bad at all but a agree with RYANGP with the width in the rear

Hows the ride on these things?

TOPHER33884 04-23-2009 09:23 PM

civicdrivr 04-23-2009 10:06 PM

romeo112 04-23-2009 10:34 PM

Yea, that picture shows it much better. They arent that bad. Nice job

rondog 04-24-2009 07:31 AM

40 offset, huh. Any rubbing, iu tried to run that and had to go back to 52, it was rubbing so much in the rear without rolling fender and occasionally in the front on lock to lock turns. What tires did you go with? Looks like 225/35/19 and 225/30/20.

Looks great, Now you'll never be able to go back to 19" in the back, watch, lol.

my fenders are rolled so i only really rub from body roll when i go into turns fast. im getting an eibach rear sway bar in a week so that should help alot.
im running 225/35/19 in the front and 225/30/20 in the rear. your right about the 20 in the back that extra inch makes the rim look so much better i cant explain it.

SG81 04-24-2009 08:10 AM

those look great, especially on a red car

easymoney 04-24-2009 09:53 AM

O.o I'm glad to finally see what ya had got. That chrome looks clean on that SMR. Nice job keep it up

jaysizzlecity 04-24-2009 11:21 AM

Sick wheels

nf3d0149ab 04-24-2009 11:56 AM

If you run 20's in the rear and 19's in the front...is it noticeable or obvious looking?

p.diddy 04-24-2009 12:15 PM

for someone who's not into cars no they wouldn't notice. but for a car guy yea mainly because the series tires. the sidewall in the front is bigger the sidewall in the rear.

nf3d0149ab 04-24-2009 12:26 PM

Gotcha.

So why do 20's look better in the rear?

Is there a larger gap because my wheels rub more in the rear and I have my fenders rolled flat.

Just picked up a camber kit because my only option now is to camber in the wheels.

TOPHER33884 04-24-2009 12:29 PM

So, where'd you pick these up from? Might have to go explore for a set! LOL

i just like them just not the added weight that comes with them.

dont think theres a larger gap

Does it feel more "sluggish" now...?

yea it does a little but the cl really isnt a super fast car anyway. but im picking up my Supercharger in a week so i wont be sluggish for very long. plus im not into the whole racing thing anymore so it doesnt bother me.

Garkon 04-25-2009 02:03 PM

I like the fitment of those wheels. Looks really nice. The first set of pictures i wasn't really feeling it, except the last one. The second set of pics posted were more convincing. Post more if you got em.

BTW, is the paint coming off around the front wheel well, or is that mud? Pic 5 first set. If the paints coming off, how did that happen

to your first statement yea the fitment is perfect i love the flush look. oh yea im not much of picture taker but i do want to get some better pics. the paint is chipping a little around area that but its not serious its an 8 year old car so it wont be perfect. im more focused on my s/c so ill address that issue when im done with the charger.

JayT 04-26-2009 05:19 PM
