and the only type of buffer you will ever want to use is random orbit, anything from a little hand held 6" to the nice big porter cable.
What a coincidence. As a matter of fact I've been using these two products for the last two years on my headlights:

I know this may be turning into a "wash n' wax" type of topic but just to give you a heads up on the Headlight lens restorer product the kit works like a charm. It comes with a 2 3/4" back up pad that can fit into any power drill, and six 3" self adhesive foam pads. The kit pretty much does the job of wet sanding and completely restores the headlights but I use the 2nd product to dry buff and reinforce the restoration.

He was talking about my car. Your headlight lenses are crystal clear. When I had taken pictures of my car earlier I hadn't gotten around to getting it washed and waxed yet, so he noticed my headlamps were hazy hence which is why I posted the newer pic after I had wet sanded and buffed my headlights. I'm not anal retentive about my Acura like some of these other people on Acurazine that manicure their cars cosmetically and mechanically - I get it done when I get it done. It's a car not a newborn baby or a girlfriend.

My headlights may look crystal clear in photos but I did a half asked job on the wet sanding
