New pics of my pdg...

I've made a lot of changes to my car lately and against my better judgement I've decided to show you guys some pics. I always screw up when posting pics, so just check out my car domain site.

Thanks guys! I was expecting the usual negative remarks with the bling bling icons. The headlights weren't too hard, lots of people in here have done it, but I havent seen pdg yet. I just searched and found a lot of helpful how-tos. The grill on the other hand was a pain in the ass. I used plastic filler, a little bondo, and tons of sanding. You also have to cut a section out of the metal support right behind the grill. Someone beat me to this idea though, I saw another member did it to a dark gray CLs, it looks great.

Very unique CLS, one of a kind. Love the PDG!
I miss a logo on the front grill, and I wonder how the grill surround would look gold rather than chrome. the silver kind of distracts from the PDG touches IMHO.
Lots of hard work, it shows.

Finally someone put bags on that car, that color looks sick slammed on the ground. How much did it cost you? and how hard was it to paint the interior peices?
I love it!

Wow so many questions!
-First of all I want to thank Andre. I've always loved those wheels and he helped me realize that they would fit on a slammed CL.
-I didn't want to paint the chrome grill surround, I thought the front end needed more chrome. I'm definitly planning to put the "A" back on, I allready have an idea for it. And I'm still not sure about the shiney grill material. I had planned to paint it black, but it doesn't look too bad.
-I painted all of the interior wood peices and the emblem on the shifter. The hardest part about painting them was just finding a way to get them back on. I didn't have all of the interior back in when I took the pictures. I'll take some soon.
-I bought the 03 tails new from autocarparts.com
-Ive done all the mods myself, even the painting. I had some help with the air lines though, my install leaked.
-The air ride was around $3 grand just for parts. Its one of those "you get what you pay for" things.

One more question for ya, what kind of material did you use your grill with? I couldn't find the answer on your CarDomain...?

I had to find the reciept for this one! Its from mcmaster.com, I found out about it from another thread in here. You'll need the specs, there are thousands of different types on the website so its hard to find one. #6640044-01, Aluminum preforated 36 x 40", .250" hole dia, 58% open area, .032" thick, $45 shipped. -good stuff!
