hmmmm....maybe oversteer....but dont u think its kinda hard to tell, especially since u are IN the car, ,...The only way i could see it is if i was above the car, and someone else driving....how do u feel those things? I mean, i just feel the car turning, but i cant tell if the back is more, or the front

At 8 clicks it's not bad. I was running max stiffness for about a month, not the best thing to do when your roads are like shit...so I adjusted it down. The dampers can be damaged if your slammed hella low and have maximum damper set and go over lots of potholes.

Put more simply...

If you get alot of oversteer, you spin out. The back end slips easier than the front.

If you have understeer, you can't take sharp turns and you end up slamming into the wall on the outside of your turn.

Hope that helps.

i think itll go another 2 inches....pretty low actually, but i dont think u would wanna drive like that...youd have more probelms than u ever dreamed of. Yes, u can change the height w/o taking the wheels off, but its a bitch, and ud have to get it aligned everytime u change the height

Mr Big
thanks for answering my question about the rim/tire sizes. What will you suggest for the best fit sizes for 19s? Because i am trying to get some 19" for my CL. Also, i would want to dropped my car with some tien ss and how low of a drop will best suit the 19s without rubbing?

Thnaks

Can you please give me any info on the place you purchased these? I've been looking for cheap Tein's and am almost ready to purchase.

Well Trance, if u wanna go with performance, 235s will be the best choice....those are probably the widest u wanna go with 19s and a drop like mine...problem: they will rub if its that low...uve seen my drop...U can get those tires and raise the car up to CT height, and i dont think ull have issues there...then again, whats the point of gettin TEIN if u have the same height as CT, u kno what mean? U wanna go low, but u also dont wanna rub? correct me if im wrong....So i think, the best choice for u is to get a nice tire (for performance) but only go 225/35/19...or even smaller, 215/35/19....chances are, if u do rub with those, it may be the offset of the wheel....or the rub will be very minimal...TRUST Me, when my car first rubbed ...right after i pulled outta the tire shop, i was freakin scared...it sound like some shit grinding really hard against the car...so i had to roll the fenders...THe rubbing went away, and after i installed sways, the front rubs, but only going up certain driveways and parking lots...its minimal, but its there....so, in summary....looks 215 or 225 to forget about the hassles of rubbing...(w/ correct offset of course)....performance AND looks 235s (but u probly will experience rubbing...unless u have a very high offset....hope this helps!

Well, my +45 would not rub if the tires were 225...so i think its cool if u go anywhere from +45 to +48...i think some members on the board have even gone +50, but that may be pushing it....+45 is good for sure...alot of members w/19 in. wheels have gone 45 and no problems

well, the lower u go in tire width, the less rubbing ull have....235s are pushing it all the way....215, ull be safe, but u will have to sacrifice performance from ur tires....the 7s come in only 45 and 47, i belive, but 45 is the reccommended fitment....ur local tire stores will tell u the same

Mr Big just for the record the higher the offset the more the wheel is in more preventing the rubbing of the fender. The 45 offset is setting the wheel a lot further out than stock which is 55 so the closer you are to 55 the less chance of rubbing with the fenders. Now going too wide in the tire might cause rubbing from lock to lock but Im running 235 with 48 offset and no rubbing.

I know the Axis 7 mod has 18x7.5. No one going to consider 18s instead of 19s??? I went to a local shop and saw that 18s offered 45 offset, but the axis website only showed a 42 offset. You know anything about that Mr.Big?

Oh...my dad has the Acura CL with a comptech drop and 18x7.5 zigen 5zr on 235/40. They do not stick out at all and it is aligned to spec. I'm looking into the axis 7 mod for an accord v6 though, which has the same high offset.
