just got my intake in, ordered a cheap ebay intake and also ordered the greddy intake filter, man this sucker is loud and pulls hard now

So what do you think? Any power improvement? It's basically a hot air intake aka short ram. I had one for a while but got sick of the excessive noise it produced. Cops are dicks in my area.

well i didnt want the hassle of possible water..and i like to see it all in the engine back personally, and as far as feeling more power, oh most definantly!!! greddy air filters FTW !!

haha as for the hoseclams, u know how ebay is LOL, they sent me on for the 6MT and so i had to shorten it a bit to get it to fit correctly, but it works fine,

Nice setup, Intake sounds mean on the CL...

Not to hijack, but do any CT icebox owners remove their lid that goes over the air filter to make it sound louder? I know I'm pretty much defeating the purpose of the CAI but it sounds so much better w/the lid off. Is doing this jeapordizing the intake in any way?

my intake is loud as shit, and when vtec kicks in, sounds like my car is gonna lift off and fly lol
