I just took some 1/8" thick aluminum (I think, maybe 1/16" thick) and bent it up. If it doesnt fit the Accord when I get one, cover shipping + $5 and its yours.

What were the specs on those work wheels and did you have to run a spacer to get them to fit over the rl bbk. I'm with streetka, I'll be happy to take donations as well. But leave the car the way it is please.

My cl handles great. It's not the cars fault you didn't mod it properly.

Your car does rev faster then mine. Damn the lwfw.

Do any other car makers make fwd cars around 3500 lbs? I can't think of any.

18x8.5 +43, no spacers. They cleared just fine.

The CL handles decently for what it is. But its not the FR-S by a long shot.

Theres plenty of FWD cars around 3500lbs too. Altima, Malibu, Camry....

Its pathetic, but dont fuck with those v6 family sedans. Hell, the new Accord V6 6AT hits 60 in 5.7s. Its a 3500lb fwd sedan.

If anyone needs the power as badly...

Great videos. It was nice to see it start up and rev. Even though I've never actually seen your car, it'll be sad to see it go.

If you plan on keeping the 3.6, are you mainly limited to Hondas for your practical car?

I am keeping the 3.6. Im leaning Accord for right now, but the trouble is finding a clean one. I looked at one a few days ago. The guy had it listed for $2200, said the engine was making a knocking noise. I didnt care as long as I can get the damn thing home. But, the paint was bad, there was a distinct smell of fuel when I primed the fuel pump, the alternator was on its way out, there was rust on the driver side rear quarter....the work I would have had to put into it would bump the price up to that of a clean Accord. So I passed. Ive got a few others on my list to check out still.

If the Accord doesnt work out, I may go to my backup plan. But that all depends. I really missed driving the CL though. Ive put about 700 miles on it since last Friday, with a few WOT pulls. Shes still got it

Would you consider gettting a more beat-up Accord and handling bodywork?

Lip kit and a fresh coat of paint and you won't think about an Accord ever again.

Such a purdy car. Why did you let that bearded douche wash it for you?

I have the CT axle backs, but they are sitting in my attic. Ive had a 3" exhaust on the car since I got the headers done. Magnaflow HFC, resonator, and mufflers, I forget the part numbers.

I just reread my post, and I think I insinuated that Id be keeping the CL. Thats not happening. But the car Im looking at is a 4 door and purple.

In other news - We got some snow and ice today, and the CL handled it beautifully. I have snow tires on the car and I spun them a few times, but I was being a dumbass to test their limits. Other then that, they kept the car pointed where I wanted it to go. Other cars were so lucky.

Nice did you just use custom piping and does it flow well enough with your motor. I think I'm going to have to do something similar when I build a 3.7L motor. What mufflers did you use?

The 3" system should flow enough. It feels much stronger in the midrange and up top, but I havent dyno'd it. I dont remember what model mufflers were used. Theyre Magnaflows though. My friend blacked them out in that picture. They actually look like this:

I havent put tips on them yet. At the time I was waiting to get the TL kit on the car, then realign it. But that never happened.

Because Virginia. Thats the inspection sticker btw. The registration stickers are on the plates. There used to be a tax sticker that you'd also have to have on the windshield, but luckily that was before I moved down here. Now its just the one.

I got a new lens, so I was just testing it out at a location I found for pictures. Its a Tamron 10-24 f3.5-4.5. So far, I love this lens. The car was filthy (I washed it afterwards), but it was just a test shoot before I bring the FR-S there tomorrow.
