Glad you finaly got the pics up, what did it take?

Cars looking good, one more SDG here on the forums, which is a good thing. Rims are a little crazy, but i bet they look great on the move! Get higher quailty pics up when you get a chance, we like the big pics.

yeah i want to know too lol. wheels are 19x7.5 niche f16s, funny story, they were originally on my buddies 2nd gen TL before he got his G35coupe 6speed w/ brembo brake package and all options (one bad ass car), after his TL they were on his friends RL and now they COULD be on my CL. we just threw them on to make sure they would fit because we didnt know the offset but im guessing its 45. the tires will have to be changed though, on there now is 225/40s which sucks cus they are on brand new continental contisport contacts ($260 dollar tire). i was in the market for 20s (machined with black accents) but if i get these he will give me a real good deal and they did look bad ass. wheels are very surprisingly light. the pictures are from my camera phone thats why photos suck. the wheels are crazy, the middle of the spoke sits outside of the rim by maybe half inch, even from the rear you can see the middle of the spoke sticking out just a tad, enough to catch your eye. i told him that i would buy them from him so here in another week or two ill get some good pics up and get the teins sitting right on them

ReiDLos and Garkon thank you both for helping me out with the pics. im sure most people who saw the thread thought i was posting a stock PDG who everyone has seen before and no one really wants to see another stock CL in the photos section. as far as mods go right now i have tein basics, thanks excelerate, 5% all the way around and 35% on the windshield which makes a world of difference as far as apperance goes. debadged A C U R A. thinking about taking off the 3.2CLtypeS. i was also thinking just to be a little different, dremeling apart the 3.2 and keeping the CLtypeS badge, i dont think ive seen anyone do that yet. i want to get the 03 headlights, with the black tint im sure it will look badass, going to keep the 01 taillights though. that will be it for exterior. future interior mods: polk audio components and just a 12 or the new 13.5 inch JL sub and JL amps. stock headunit with JL cleansweep. thennnnn its all under the hood but nothing crazy no superchargers, just basic TB spacers, intake and headers will be good with me

Good to see another PDG on here. As far as the rims go, I'm not a big fan of them but when it's all said and done its your car and your money so do what you like. Now for the rear plate, I normally can figure out the custom plates but I must be dumb because I just don't understand it. Something "the CL". As far as the rest, you seem to have some good ideas and a goal so I wish you the best. Clinton

same as his name. DLnthecl. DL in the CL. DL = Down low, or on the down low. As in not to make a scene of what your doing, dont get caught etc. "Keep it on the DL". So, keeping it low key in the CL. thats my take.

as far as the plate goes yeah it is DL in the CL but i dont do anything illegal, its a catchy phrase being that i have a CL, i actually got it from an old lil wayne song, i always remembered that line and i said if i ever get an acura CL im going to put that on there, he of course is talking about a mercedes benz CL though. i am surprised at how often i get asked what i means, glad i didnt put ALIZONME all eyes on me, my second choice.

JohnBlayz, they are old wheels yes but were never popular. these 19s with mid priced tires retail for over $3500, i can get a set of decent 20s with tires shipped to my house for less than half that price....reason why seeing niches is actually a rare occurance. ive seen one cadillac here in charlotte with them on, and only maybe a few cars out of the thousands ive seen online with the f16s. the most popular niche wheels were the bellas but even still i would definitely rock those because most people dont even know what they are and if they did they would certainly be amazed that someone still has them.......these wheels are not even as old as the racing hart C2s and people are still dying to have them and 5,6,7 spoke and mesh wheels are always going to be popular.

Nice looking sg cl. personally I would go with wheels you just posted, but then again I don't really like chrome and love light-looking racing type wheels so i just may be biased.

I def like the ones you just posted in post 15 better, but go with what you like is what i'd say. I know i've seen pics of a cl w/ rims similar to the ones you just posted and it looked great.

yeah if they were 20 i would think about buying them. i thought they were 20s in that picture, i think its just a great photo cus otherwise i really dont like the wheels that much, ive seen them online 100 times and never once clicked on them untill i saw that picture.

yeah i agree too, every chrome wheel pdg ive seen on here ive never really liked. the silver wheels do look a lot better. he was going to sell me them for 1300, i would probably get 400-500 for the tires when they would eventually sell (19s arent that popular), but then i would probably spend another 500 for 225/35s so that would mean 1300 for a set of 19s or i could spend a couple hundred more bucks and have a real nice set of silver 20s, what i really want, so it looks like im going to do that

well i have spent the better half of this evening back on the drawing board for wheels. the 2nd wheels i posted look great but they didnt look as good as i thought they would on the CL. after doing many searches and finding NOTHING in 20 inch with a high offset with a good design i think im back to ronjon legend type 2s 20inch in silver. as i said before, if ronjon made the raven black/machined face inspires in 20 inch id be all over that but they dont. i really do like the deep dished very strong looking legends though. so give me a month or two and ill have some bad ass pics up

yeah, i have a set of 18 inch axis se7ens sitting in my garage, they are white, looked bad ass on my old car but i dont want them anymore, id rather have stock 17s on the CL now. im going to be working my ass off the first quarter of 08 so i wont have a problem affording those expensive ass legend 2s. all the bad ass 20 inch wheels- 20x8 and 20.5 mostly, all have low offsets. i think the decorsa is simply one of the most beautiful wheels ever made...to bad it doesnt fit

So you don't think these wheels don't look all that great? I love how they look. Here's another picture. And trust me, the 19"s are big enough. When ever I rode them, everyone asked if they were 20"s. They were all shocked they were only 19".

that funny I just call Ron two days ago and was looking at pricing for some 20in rims. I know the Devotions would be awsome but they come with one hell of a price, over 3g. Maybe when income taxes come in. If not the legends were not a bad choice and at 1/2 the cost. I just think 20in with a 3.25lip all the way around will really stand out. Of course I still love my Inspryes in 19in. Great ride with a great look. Just no lip.

Do yourself a favor...don't get 20's they look like trash unless you can tuck them, which is next to impossible.

If you do get 20's, be prepared to get bashed if you post pics. Good luck.
