Actaully the interior of this one is raelly nice, everything is leather and carbon fiber type stuff, and mostly all black, leather recaro seats, despite some o f the ammenities it is luxuray,........looked at my buddies 05 MR yesterday, and like nonne if his shit matches, black this with lots of silver, blue seats,........it just looks like someone at the last minute threw everything in there and called it good.

Nice F$%^en car bro, you are lucky because the mods for that thing really are endless. I saw the HKS on the power block the other weekend and that thing was sick. They modded every possible engine component but most impressive was turbo they dropped in, fuckin smokah. they flew in a special driver from japan to drive just for the competition. It blew the doors off of all the other completely modded neons, sti's, civic si's, lotus', and even a really sweet hondata lotus elise (i think, that one was really close though) there was a turbocharged toyota tacoma with a supra rear end there too from Maine. Anyway enjoy the car and you'll definetly be going through some tires with that fast ass machine.

A good friend of mine has an '04 8. She let me drive her's in the snow we had in Febuary. Awesome car to play with in the snow. Drives almost as well in the snow as it did in the dry. Of course we had the typical sliding. But ya' know..

2003type-s6, I just read your intorductory post on evom.net. I've been reading on there for about 8 months. Wartalon comes off like an a-hole. But, he really knows alot about dsm; and the most cost effective/ highest horsepower mods. Anyway, again, cool car......enjoy.

the mechanical difference is that it has a 3rd differential in the center of the driveline..... engine/turbo is identical.... i have had both... not impressed with either... i was inpressed however with a 700hp evo i rode in last year. it pulled through the gears like my cbr1000rr.... 0-180+mph about 20 seconds...

drive them both and decide what you like better. the performance difference between the two is most likely negligible.

The EVO designers are a little smarter w/ the front mounted intercooler instead of on top of the engine where it gets hot,..............If you look at any modded STI in the magazines the intercooler is front mounted where it ought to be, so why wouldnt Subi do that in the 1st place? I don't really like the redesigned 06 subi's, the 05 's looked nice though, very diferent.
