My new car.........EVO IX MR !
Guy at work got an EVO about 3-4 months ago, he gave me a short ride in it and ever since then I was hooked. Traded in the CL, tried to sell it, only about a week, but no bites at all. Lost a bunch of $$$$ in my mods, but still made out ahead between what they gave me and payoff amount. Payments just went through the roof, but oh well, you only live once right? This car is sick, just stupid fast. Lost a LOT of my luxury, ( 6-disc, sunroof, cruise, volume controls etc on steering wheel, heated seats, ) but it was worth it. First one to hit my dealer, in the color I wanted, so I had to snatch it up. Got off the truck around 3 PM Wednesday, I drove it home ab out 7:30 PM Thursday. Had 7 miles on it.
My boss and another guy in my unit have EVO's, so I've got a head start on mods and how to do stuff,

damn, those payments must be pretty damn high. but that's cool that you went all out and got the MR! i almost went for an evo 8 myself. well, try not to have so much fun with your excess in speed and handling.

damn i didn't even know the evo 9s were out 
i looove the redesigned front especially how they finall took out that triangle piece inbetween the grill. what changes are in the 9? i heard they redisigned the suspension and refined the 4wd system on it but no changes to the engine...is this correct? Either way on the new purchase.

I appreciate all the props, I expected a lot of hating, but nope. A-CL maintains it's class. I will say this, the car is sort of difficult to launch, the all wheel drive and really sticky tires, you really have to tack it,........I havent even tried, considering how new it is and I havent made a payment yet..............but, ...got 500 miles on it right now, only like 1,000-2,000 more to go and I can really get on it. Looking at it lately I do need to really drop the front, the front sits up so much higher than the rear,.......

Nice car, evos have so much potential. Look on evolutionm.net there is tons of great info on this site. For starters, get a catback, an mbc, and an ecu flash. Unfortunatley, I hear that mitsu will void your warranty for ANY mods. Anyway, awesome car, have fun.

Yeah, the possibilities are about endless,.........first to go on are going to be intake and blow off valve, along w/ a turbo timer. Prob some hoses, actually TINT is the 1st thing going on, and I would like to get the BBS wheels powdercoated gold. It's gonna take some tyime, though. Resale is still high even when people have modded them, so. Im keeping this one anyway, this one is NOT seeing snow.
