My latest creation

Look what I did all by myself guys. The only thing is im waiting for my bodyshop to let me know they are done painting my 03 CL-s grille frame to the color of my car. I also have to apply the type-s emblem its just sitting there for now. You can see what its gonna look like anyways. I painted the preforated sheetmetal with Rust-oleum Metallic (Black night metallic) and then hit it with a coat of Rust-oleum crystal clear enamel. I love the results and they have to be seen in person believe me. Hope you guys like Ill post more with the painted frame and mounted on the ride.

i would dremel out the backing of the grill behind the mesh. looks weird with that in there. i think thats what sets the RJ grill apart from all the homade ones.

Thats what I think I will do before I mount it..... As for the paint chips, I hope I dont have that problem with the 3 coats I put on and the 2 coats of clear.

you dremel out, and you cant return it back to stock. I have yet to decide on what I want to do with back there. Any ideas?

Cut the mesh so that when you put it back together it is held in between the grll trim and the grill backround by the screws. Here is a link to the D.I.Y.
