-Havent washed the car in over 2 weeks
-I got the new wheels but they are absolutely not what they were supposed to be. Im pissed about that.

Climb under and look.

I poly-filled my mounts. The poly is squeezing out of it. I ordered some 94A poly to use instead of the 80A. We'll see how it goes.

Everything is 80A, even the tranny mounts.

Ive been hearing a knocking noise lately and my shifting got very sloppy Thursday. I had thought previously that my KSports were completely shot (before the sloppy shifting), but Im 99% sure the mounts were causing all of my issues (except for the rubber deterioration on the top hats, thats all KSport).

I finally got under the car Saturday to take a look and everything looked fine. I got up and looked at the front mount, it was ok, then the side mount. I noticed it started to dough on me. I climbed under the car and saw the poly squeezing out of the rear mount.

I think I still have my old rear mount and side mount. I hope I do, so I can poly-fill them this week and get them installed next week.

Im going to try to fill these mounts alittle neater. Its possible the poly didnt stick well due to my work. You need to scuff up the OEM rubber well enough so the poly can stick. Im pretty sure I half-assed scuffing the rear up.

But, I still ordered some suspension parts since my car has 116k miles on it. Ive got inner tie rod ends, ball joints, sway bar end links, and radius rod bushings. I also want to swap my tranny fluid out for some GM sm.

The Devotions? They were 19x8.5 40mm all around. The lips were staggered though.

Im not saying what the new wheels are just incase I dont use them, much like the 350Z Track wheels I wanted to use.

You're crazy. How about you pick me up a set of wheels next time you get another set?

I'm looking forward to seeing them on the car. AGAIN.

feel free to toss a set my way as well

If the new wheels don't work out for whatever reason, are you still going to stick with the black on black?

As far as I can tell, no. The front mount still looks good, which is odd. Id expect the front mount to go out before the rear.

I filled the mounts this afternoon. Ill give them a week to solidify and then put them in. I cant till I can because the knocking/sloppy shifts/shitty steering is driving me crazy.

I was thinking about that Ingalls dampener earlier. I definitely need something to help stiffen everything up.

Against my brothers wishes, I keep damn near every part off my car just incase something like this happens. I kept my old mounts, so I just pulled them out of a box and filled them

can you verify that the RL pistons are actually forged? mine arrived and they definately look cast.

they look exactly like yours, i was under the impression forged pistons wouldnt have that pitting seen in your pics.

what honda pistons are actually forged (yes they are more then likely cast for the ones you got), are you talking about the crank maybe

everyone has been saying the 05 RL pistons are forged and provide a higher compression than the CL-S counterpart.

i have both of them side by side with me right now. the valve reliefs look exactly the same. along with the shape of the dome. hell, they even weigh the same.

yes to that part, but even then it is such a slight compression change (half a point), not much has to be changed on the piston to achieve it, it may be slightly lower wrist pin position (so the piston goes further up in the bore), idk
and as for the weight difference between the pistons, we are probably talking grams here (less then a pencil's weight), so if you are comparing them by hand GL with that

interesting... so why run the RL pistons if the CL pistons are identical and cheaper?
