and such a cheapo with those hankook tires :shakehead (for their price, they are actually quite good, but still better ones out there though)

and civic you you have complained of tires breaking free, maybe you should get some better/softer tires, let alone at least some 245's on there (they fit a tl on a-specs with minimal trimming of the rear bumper tabs)

These tires are rated #2 in their category I was going to run a wider tire, but then Id be rubbing. Minimal rubbing = too much rubbing In my opinion.

Apparently that guy tried to buy Rich's harness to reverse engineer it and sell it as his own. He has another engineer working on the ECU trying to decompile the code.

Phee - If you dont want me to post that let me know, Ill have a mod delete it. If its true (and I trust you and Rich) then Im going to hold off for alittle while longer and wait to see what else comes out.

Yea, the harness Rich was selling. He bought it to see how it worked and try to sell it as his own. Thats a big no-no in my book. And according to Rich (via Phee), Don has no idea how our ECU truly works.

not that hard to figure out the wiring and such, but yeah that computer would be the hardest part though with programing and such, but still not too hard to figure out, just time consuming , and it is not like there is a whole lot of money to be made there, richie probably did it for more of a passion and to help out others, while still making some money on the side (especially when you are talking the low volumn of people actually converting)

but yeah a no-no for trying to make a buck off of someone else

Yea. Business morals is something I rank right up there with customer support. Thats the reason I refuse to buy from Fastbrakes because they jacked the RL caliper idea from Paul.

New intake and exhaust is in. Initial impressions are mixed. It feels like I lost torque but the speedometer disagrees. The exhaust isnt loud (thank god) but when you get on it the intake is deafening (not sure if I like that). Pics and full rundown will be up tomorrow. Im going to sleep.

Quaye, since I made you post pics of your wheels I guess its only fair. Heres a few when we initially installed it, but these are not the final product. If the rain holds off tomorrow and I can clean the engine bay Ill take final install pics, otherwise it'll be Tuesday afternoon.

Again, this is not the final product. Just what we were working with on Thursday, and there were issues. Annoying issues. And Ill post more about them tomorrow (technically later today).

Heres pics as it sits. I need to run to Lowes to get a bolt to for the throttle return spring. Under certain conditions the throttle plate wont close.

Intake in short-ram form:

Intake in cold-air form:

I will also be getting black couplers for the intake piping, but its not needed right this second so it can wait until I get around to it.

No exhaust gases are going back into the intake, only fresh, clean air. Less build up on internals. So to me its worth it.

im interested how did you do that extension of the intake from short ram to cold air.
i mean how did you bent that pipe...

when you're done moding your CL there is nothing more interesting on CL side to watch...

im gonna switch to TL side (3G) which is gonna be my next car soon.

When I get bored of the CL Ill probably yank the motor and sell the car. The motor will probably go into my Civic. But Ill still be on AZine with another Acura to mod. Not a 3rd gen though.

Nope. I have XS headers and they are treating me pretty well. The flex pipe is rattling though, but Im not stressing it.

Forgot to say Streetka - The piping is pre-bent. Spoolinspoon and I split the cost of intercooler piping. That shit is expensive
