I have one, its really easy as long as you dont rush it. I did it during the summer so the metal was a bit softer. Some places suggest that you use a heat gun to warm up the fender.

Yeah I've heard that as well. I don't plan on it any time soon, just something I'd like to do in the near future.

Haha I like it because it's different everyone else just does a lip spoiler I like how yours is molded into the trunk, it gives it a cleaner look. You know what I mean say a price already!!!

http://www.shipgreyhound.com/

Is great for shipping large items. I'm buying nspecs old lip kit from dsickles and were going that route with shipping. That's a whole lot bigger than just a trunk. Just throw a price out there and will go from there. I was reading one of your threads and noticed you work at a body shop so I'm sure you can make a new one. I would be actually willing to send you my trunk if you needed one. I have cash in hand willing to pay you asap no bs.

I said the same thing to myself when I first installed them. The only thing I can think of is they are for a second gen tl. I purchased them brand new from a store off ebay that had a bunch of left over comptech parts. If I remember correctly the description said they can fit a tl/cl but when I looked up the part numbers just now they call for different ones. That's the only thing I can think of. I just purchased another set of mufflers from a member on here thevikas87. If his are the correct ones my bro said he will take mine. Either way they are going to get cut up because I'm doing a custom y pipe in the rear.

Did you get much of a gain doing the 3.5 intake ?
Where in the rpm band did you get the most gain ?
Did you build that yourself ?

I honestly don't know how much I gained exactly but I would say the car felt better all across the rpm range with it. I helped my friend Shawn build it. He owns a shop called www.rameybuilt.com

Yep that's why I said it has to get repaired and painted in my last post lol. I only paid $550 plus shipping for the whole kit so I couldn't pass it up. I wanted to have them resprayed anyways.

Yepp. I'm excited I wanted one for a long time. I'm only putting the front on for now. It would look stupid if I had the whole kit on without being slammed on nice wheels. I still have oem wheels on right now.

I took all the exhaust off last night and matched the headers perfectly with the gaskets. Out with the old and in with the new! Were building the rest of the exhaust today.

We got some more work done today on the exhaust. I just have to figure out how I want my mufflers to sit, then the rest should be finished tomorrow. Here's some more pictures.

All the welds are done by my friend Brian at www.rameybuilt.com he's the man! Me either I will have some video when it's on the dyno. Hopefully it doesn't sound too raspy without a resonator. If it does I will be ordering one tomorrow depending on how it sounds once were finished.

Agreed. After I got my exhaust redone I had one of the cheapo slim resonators and it sounded terrible. Got the 3" vibrant and it sounded soooooooooo much better. Very subtle but still aggressive sound.

X100000000 I knew I should of just ordered one from the beginning but I'm stubborn and wanted to hear how it sounded first without one.

We were thinking about making them equal length but decided not too. Will see if this design actually works better. I'm putting the car on the dyno tomorrow so I'll have video. I had to order a vibrant performance ultra quiet 3 inch resonator, it's way to raspy for my style. That will be here tomorrow so will dyno the car after we install that. Everything else is finished, I left my camera at the shop by accident so I won't have pics until tomorrow.

We took the mid pipe back off today to install the resonator. It sounds a lot better but it still has some rasp. I can deal with it though.

Here's the before and after dyno sheet. I also noticed my before pulls were uncorrected (STD) so they are slightly higher by about 5whp and 5wtq. So overall I picked up about 30whp and 15wtq with the new exhaust setup. The car feels better across the whole rpm range now, especially towards the higher rpms. Now I have bad traction issues in 1st and 2nd gear lol.

BEFORE: 246whp 223wtq UNCORRECTED (STD)

AFTER: 279whp 238wtq UNCORRECTED (STD)

272WHP 233WTQ CORRECTED (SAE)
