I'm kind of glad in a way because I am keeping them now in case I ever buy another CLS6 later down the road. No point in selling them now, because it's not like they will drop in value in a year or two.

I'm going to spray it with a 100-125 shot single nozzle wet kit. I'm not touching the engine internally only bolt on's. Once we finish the exhaust and I eventually install a aluminum flywheel to free up a few hp and new clutch setup that will be it performance wise. I will focus on on it cosmetically after that. It's my daily driver that I want to make decently quick, I'm not trying to have the fastest cls-6 or anything. As long as I can run 13's all motor and some where in the 12's on spray I'll be very happy with those et's. Power wise goals I would like to make at least 270+whp and 400+whp on spray.

Thanks a lot!

Nope not yet it's been hot as hell here so I haven't even bothered. Now that the cooler weather is coming around I will very soon as it sits. I will also dyno it again after the exhaust, aluminum flywheel, and new clutch setup.

I stopped by my friends shop tonight. I was able to cut off the collector flanges from the headers. I still have to have one of them tig the new v bands on so I can drop them off to get ceramic coated tomorrow. I'll post post a couple pics once they're welded on.

Do you plan on dynoing the car after you get the modded headers in?

Yes I plan on doing a few before and after pulls. We also have to make a completely new j pipe and mid pipe still. I might wait until I get a new flywheel and clutch setup before I go on the dyno but will see.

I decided to just say fuck it and dyno the car now without the new flywheel and clutch setup. I will be getting it done tomorrow. What's everyone's guess on hp and tq numbers?

Custom 3.5 cold air intake, Unorthodox lightweight pulleys, P2r throttle body spacer, P2r thermal gaskets, P2r plenums, Excelerate test pipe, and Comptech mufflers.

No prize for being the closest haha.

Damn Rush and Richardparker have high hopes lol. I doubt it will make that much but will see. Probably closer to what Jacobpockros said. My guess is 245/220

Hopefully once the headers, j pipe, mid pipe, and aasco aluminum flywheel are on it makes at least 275 that's my goal. This pull tomorrow will be my baseline so we can compare how much more it makes with the new exhaust setup. Once all that is on it will be time to hook the bottle up!!!

Nope just oem right now. I have a set of comptechs were modifying as in the pictures a few posts back. This will just be the baseline pull to compare with the new exhaust setup.

I didn't reset the ecu since last time I did that was when I changed the pulleys. It made 246hp/223tq not bad for the mods I have done. My guess was almost right on the money that's crazy lol.

(I copied this from the other thread I just made in the dyno gallery)

I finally got to go on the dyno and make a couple pulls to get a baseline for comparison. It was getting spark knock and the torque curve wasn't very smooth so we decided to switch the plugs from ngk laser platinum 4363 to ngk v power 5791 that helped smooth it out and make a very little more hp/tq. The slight smoke you see is a little oil that got into the rear cylinders when I was changing the plugs. For some reason only my rear spark plug tube seals were leaking. I still have a couple more mods left to do and hook up the bottle haha enjoy!!

Thanks. I still have to do headers, j pipe, mid pipe, aasco aluminum flywheel, and aem fic. I only need around 30whp more if I don't reach it I'll be very close .

Wow, I'm surprised your car made that much power without headers. I guess that means throttle body spacers, thermal gaskets, plenums, and test pipes do add a good amount of hp when added up. I always thought those mods were a waste of money, but it looks to be that they are very effective.

Yeah I guess every bolt on adds up. Once I get the headers on and we make the rest of the exhaust I'm sure it will be close to my 275whp goal. The aem fic should definitely get me there and smooths things out. Really the only thing I have left after the exhaust is the aasco aluminum flywheel to free up some hp. I will be very happy with all that for only bolt ons. As for wheels I'm still not 100% sure I'm thinking maybe work meisters but do you think 18s would be lighter than oem? I want to do something different so maybe black lips with polished center.

Well I know I want 18's and staggered for sure. Front 8.5 wide and rear 9.5 wide. I'm just unsure on the offset. I really like the new S1's 3 piece design in bright buff finish. I'm sure I can get the lips in anodized black since they offer that for other wheels they sell. My guess is they probably would weigh more like you said.
