Thanks man. I'm expecting about 600whp on boost. But you got me thinking about selling my kit and running nitrous. Can you pm me all the components of your kit? I'm Very interested in seeing your setup. Also what size Hoosiers are you using?

Whats up with RDX owners?

That OEM pressure plate and flywheel surface doesn't look uneven at all

Here's the exact kit on my car. I added a nitrous bottle blanket, and msd digital window switch which I still need to install.

Well I got the disengagement problem fixed. I made a third custom length longer rod for the slave cylinder and adjusted the pedal a little. Did anyone else have a little shudder when you were first breaking in your clutch? I would assume it's normal until it's broken in some more. I only drove the car about five miles so far.
Here's pictures of the different rods and the adjusting spot on the back of the clutch pedal. Which btw is a pain in the ass to get to lmao!

Damn 600whp on pump or race gas? I wouldn't sell that kit, turbo is the way to go lol. The only reason I went the nitrous route is because this is my daily driver. It's only there when I want it, other than that the car runs just as good as a bone stock cl. I just have your normal single nozzle wet kit. I'm running 26x9.5-16's quick time pro's.

Yeah zex kits are good. What type of setup would you be interested in buying? Is your friends kit a specific plate for his car or a universal single nozzle wet kit like mine?
#409
That would be a pretty high number to obtain on pump gas. If it's your dd I wouldn't even want to deal with the headaches of a turbo setup. It will be tough to make it run like oem. That's just my opinion though, the decision is up to you.
Not really, my friend has 720whp on a bone stock j32a2 at 20 psi. i can make way more then that if i turned the boost up. He runs 10.3s.

My new legend calipers came in the mail yesterday from advance auto. I'm still waiting on the f+r ebc slotted usr sport rotors to come in the mail and the rear ebc red stuff brake pads since they were special order. I already have new russell braided stainless steel lines and ebc red stuff front pads.
I'm going to remove my oem rear calipers and brackets so I can powder coat everything at once. Then I will install everything else. Hopefully it all makes a noticeable difference.

My imrc wasn't working and I had it jetted a tad on the rich side. So that hurt the numbers a little.

Another update. I ordered a direct port nitrous kit. I also upgraded the nozzles to the annular style, I'm going to plum them into the p2r plenums so they spray right into the velocity stacks. This way I will have easy access to do a jet change. Plus I don't have the room because my plenums are already very close to the hood as is.
My current kit is maxed out and won't flow anymore efficiently so that's why I went the direct port route. Hopefully now I will be able to pick up a actual 200whp since it's more efficient.
My final hp and et goal is to make at least 500whp and 500+wtq and to run somewhere in the 11's. I can only go so fast before getting kicked out for not having a roll bar. I doubt I'll go anywhere near 11.50's to even have that problem but it would be a nice problem to have though ha!
Does anyone know what size the hard fuel line fitting is off the firewall? I have to also upgrade the soft line and get that fitting so I can make something up.

I know nitrous is really powerful and puts down some large power but do you ever wonder when or if the engines gonna go boom?
My friends are running water/meth on their cars. (turbo audi a4 and Saab) and say its power and safety. I've never seen this done on a CL why ?

There are guys running a water/meth/alcohol kit in their supercharged CLs.
Water/Meth/Alcohol injection doesnt necessarily add power, it cools the intake charge. On an NA motor it won't make a huge impact unless you are suffering from a lot of knock (though if you are, you probably have other issues).
It works great on boosted engines because compressed air is naturally hotter. Cooler intake charge = less detonation/knock = more power.
Then there are the safety aspects of it. If you tune a car to run on w/m/a all the time, you need to really keep an eye on the fluid levels. Meth is pretty expensive. If you run out, you better have a safety switch wired into your tuning program to pull timing, otherwise your motor may go boom.
Aside from engine safety, methanol is not a fun liquid. You can't have it in the passenger cabin as it fucks with you central nervous system. The other inherent problem with meth is that it has an invisible flame when it burns. There was a crash at the Indy 500 in the '60s that killed two drivers due to the fire that no one saw. Think Ricky Bobby when he ran around saying he was on fire, but in real life.
100% meth makes the most power because it cools the most. A lot of people run a 50/50 mix of water/methanol, because its cheaper. Water doesnt cool as well, but it acts like a steam cleaner when it travels through your heads, so the engine stays cleaner.
So yea, w/m/a have their benefits, but nitrous cools the intake charge just as much (if not more) and gives you a shitload more power.

Here's more parts to add too the collection...
New custom 12pt aluminum lug nuts to match my new drag wheels!
Another new vibrant ultra quiet resonator, hopefully this will make the rest of the rasp go away. New arp extended wheel studs.

What'd you pay for the wheel studs ? Been thinking about doing mine in the rear , I wanna run a small spacer .
And good luck with the resonator, I think it should help , considering the couple clips I've seen through laptop speakers .
