Your CL looks so extreme with the fitment, I was messing around with some 20" wheels in the back that had a 40 offset, and I couldn't get them to not rub, but an offset in the 20's, now that is NUTS. You seriously need to get some daytime shots with decent lighting so we can see the lines of the car and all. BTW, I'm waiting for a reply to get that shifter, thanks.

225 on a 8.5 won't see much stretch, they will look nicer if u're running beefier, but trade offs are the amount of contact you have.

PLUS certain tires just run beefy... so shop around.

rondog, enjoy your short shifter.

Yeah, thanks for the info, I got it in today and lowered it all the way. Man, I never took apart the center area around the shifter before, did you have any instructions to follow? I would hate to have to uninstall the old shifter and all the parts in the dash without the need to do so. Did you take out the plastic area around the shift boot or did you just work around it?

Not to hijack, but I got to hand it to you. about installing in an hour.
WOW, I managed to install it right, man it took me like 3 hours. I had a hell of a problem putting back the center copnsole, what a fuckin mess it is under there, especially where the cupholder attaches to nthe plastic frame. I managed to crack it and scratch the hell out of it. Didn't even bother installing it back in right. I'm going to have the dealer replace those pieces and reinstall the plastic center console. The shifter itself is pretty tight. I had it all the way at the lowest setting, Reverse is a bitch but I guess I can deal with it. Its such a short throw now, gonna have to get used to it. It's not bad, but it does exactly what it was intended to do so I am pretty happy about it. It looks great too, the shifter is really sunk in, I just have to cut the boot now. Thanks man!

I know....

Did you ever get any better pics then that one I saw?

I'm not sure what your costs were...but from my research sounds like that was a lot of money to spend on fogs.

I was just talking with my local tuner shop about your foggies too...

I guess. to both of you for the holiday spirit.

I think the antlers look stupid...this is more original.

Probably would get pulled over in San Francisco for doing this.

sorry i didn't, i totally lagged on this project. i just finished the wiring 3 weeks ago, remounted them last week or so. right now i'm just going to fill that space and repaint it. after that i will get better photos.

as for the xmas lights, i can get pulled over for it, but it should be a fix it ticket if the cop's a total ass for a person showing xmas spirit. you can get white, or yellow/amber. other that that you can't any colors that aren't white or yellow (when signaling)

foglights are outperforming my headlights, wonder how i might fix that

old picture of them on

Ha ha...well.

I sourced the parts for headlights but no funds at the moment to do it...

Too many projects simultaneously going on.

I'm stupid...can't finish anything I start.
