Kanabul's Post Drop...

BEFORE...

AFTER H.Techs

Just got it out of the shop... I'm very happy. It's a reasonable drop... but still noticeable. It needs a bath, but it was about to pour when i took these.

Thanks a ton! They are 20" Gianna Blitz. I had the inserts painted when I got the car done.

Did you send your rims out to be color matched? Or did Gianna do them for you?

it would look a little better with a lower drop, but it still looks good.

design mostly, then its the finish..

imo, i hate wheels which try to maximize lips the WRONG way... as you can see the smoke purposely turns in right before it touch the lip.... if it went straight down instead, it'll look much better... and the spokes are too big...

do what you like, but its just my opinion

i dont think id like the rims as much if they weren't color matched...but i do like them. the car would look a little bit better though if the drop was a little bit more in my opinion. id be scared to drive with those rubber band tires though

A local shop here in south jersey. I am so pleased with the color.. in person it has so much depth. It's a midnight blue candy over a really dark purple pearl.

I wanted to do a really reasonable drop as i was scared to rub

I may end up having to put some stiffer shocks on it. There is a dip near my house I hit doing around 25 and I heard a split second scrape in the back.

I got the same drop and I love my H. Techs. You dont have to worry about rubbing or scraping too much and its very comfortable while providing a good looking drop.
I have to admit the S.Techs look better and handle better but the scraping and rubbing was what made me switch and im happy.

I think it looks great, if this is the look you were going for. Compared to other cars i've seen sporting this style the CL pulls it off. I assume you know the look i'm talking about.

This is exacty what i think as well as it pertains to all rims that use this method, give me a smaller lip and spokes that are straight.

I kind of agree... the entire project ended up more flashy that I envisioned. The color ended up brighter and the wheels stand out more than I though they would. When I picked paint I didn't want to wait for test panels So I ended up picking from the Dupont book. The book only has 2" by 2" squares so the blue looked WAY darker. I wanted more of a midnight candy. This is what I got... and I'm happy with it
