Most ppl say 19's are the perfect size for the CLS but some have done 20's well. If you got em lets see em!

look up pics by Morgan040 or Sic CL, they both have 20" Konig Prophets and those fit perfectly. Also Rondog has 20's on his ..20" Ronjon Devotions in the rear.

those dont look THAT bad on your car...id like to see a pic fromt the front or rear to see how the offset fits on the car. i think if it was a little lower your car would look alot better.

thats the problem with big wheels IMO....the larger size you go the more of a drop you need to make it look right cause theymake the car look so high/hotwheel car-ish.

if that makes any sense lol

Thanks. I will try to take some more angles this weekend. I think they work cause the black makes them not look like 20's. I may try to bring it down a little more Im at a close two finger gap right now.

Personally, I wouldn't go any lower but that's just me. I like it where it sits.

I'd paint the calipers black though.

That was my plan but then I was looking at how they hit off with the tail light and just to break the black up a lil. So Im still up in the air. I may do one and stand back and compare them.

I painted mine black and it's definitely an improvement. you don't even notice them now. Look at my cardomain site under my username and you can see how mine looks with the big wheels and black calipers.

20" x 8.5" polished, on the rear only since they don't clear bbk up front.
and they weigh 4-5 lbs less than the stock 17" x 7" wheels.

Flared? You mean the fenders have been pulled out? If so, got any down-the-side-shots of it? More questions comming later....

Also, are those tires Exclaim's? If so, what size?

If I haven't said it before (tho, I think I have), your car looks sick, man. I think you've done a great job and stuck with a certain look that only an NBP can pull off. You've got yourself one nice looking 2nd Gen.

Thanks for the comment. I meant rolled, most of the people here in beantown call it flared or rolled. The tires are Nankang 225/35/20. My ride will be coming out my garage so i'll have some new pics. soon with some MODS i'm about to install.

unless you are doing it just to say you have 20s, i dont think its practical by any stretch. unless where you live has absolutely no potholes.

I have never had problems with potholes but you do have to watch what you run over. No girlfriend driving the car either especially at night. Not to offend the women on the forum you are obviously a diffrent breed.

Anyways I dont think you get much more tire on a 19 as far as side wall is concerned.

How wide are your wheels and are you lowered. Those may rub a lil.
