not saying yours looks bad, i'm just saying what i think molded really would like. yours looks clean and i'm not even sure i would like it molded. i think the lip look give it that more OEM blending in appearance.

yea you are right jeremy....when you say molding that is what most people think of. I personally think it makes the front bumper look bulky and silly when stuff is fully molded on. now the rear on that car looks pretty damn slick.

our kits are technically molded on....there is no seam/gap between lip and bumper, also the lip is not detatchable.

guess i use the term molded because we had to cut and bend (ie mold) to make them fit correctly. but ya i agree on the normal usage. i have a PS picture somewhere where i smoothed the line out between the lip and bumper to give it that molded look. wasn't to pretty.

oh lol i guess ross is the one in school? well anyways. have you figured out the cut off for the exhaust? from my quick measurements, if u cut it into 3 pieces like the front lip... where the sides have the exhaust holes and the middle is just a straight away. then the exhaust cutoffs aren't exactly where the bumper exhaust cut offs are.. ionno. we'll see i guess..

any special color? i say you stay red... u pulled off the red + gold.. looks sexy

correct. the exhaust cutouts on the TL are also round while the CL's are oval. i will have to cut the rear lip in 3 places, creating 4 pieces. the cuts will be center of the round exhaust cut outs and once in the center of the lip. i will make oval cutouts that match the stock CL exhaust. thus completing the OEM Acura CL Aero Kit, some assembly required.

OooOO man, lipstuhh!! that looks sickk dude!!, so you cut the lip into 3 peices? and those 3 peices bolt onto the bumper? or do you have to mold them on there too?

YES! finally glad to see it and it looks great. better get on that front as i should have the write up done this week for the sides.

badeh-
the lip is cut into pieces then bolted on with 2" lag bolts. then everything is covered with 3/4" bondo.

you need to check out the "summer project" thread in the FAQ section. tons of pics and info.

the front lip will cost you around $150 and then about another ~$100 in materials. this is assuming you have the basic tools. the only thing that someone else will do it paint the lip for me. all the work was done in my garage by myself and ross.
